         <description>A small animal practice in the West Midlands is looking for a Nurse to start at the practice in May on a fixed term contract covering maternity leave. The contract will be for 9 – 12 months.

The practice would consider experienced or qualified nurses. This is a full time role comprising of Monday – Friday. There is also a weekend rota which involves working a Saturday morning in practice and looking after any in patients for the rest of the weekend.

The practice are unable to provide accommodation so the candidate must be local. The client has expressed that it is essential that the candidate have their own vehicle as the role involves working between their main branch and their branch surgery.

They have their own private car parking facilities. Their team consists of a full time Veterinary Surgeon, assisted by 3 Nurses; to ensure that all clients pets obtain the best possible care and treatment they can provide. They can perform all types of veterinary services ranging from routine vaccination booster, minor surgery or more major surgeries.

You will be working full time with shifts alternating between 8.30am – 5.30pm and 10.30am – 7.30pm. Weekends are 1:4 which consist of 9am – midday on a Saturday and there will be minimal on calls.

You will be working full time 36 hours per week with no OOH’s. There are 1:3 Saturday mornings and occasional evening shifts.

Sole charge will be involved.

Their Veterinarians are trained in the latest techniques should your pet require a surgical procedure.  They have a complete surgical operating theatre equipped to deal with a full range of soft tissue surgeries which include routine spays and neuters, tumor removal, biopsies, to more advanced procedures such as anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repair and gastro-intestinal surgery.

Their Veterinarians employ advanced state-of-the-art equipment to care for and monitor clients pets’ during all surgical procedures.  They are a purposely designed unit equipped to the highest standard with the latest diagnostic technologies.

Client is looking for a vet who possess a minimum of 3 years experience; someone who is confident and competent in all aspects of their veterinary work.

You must have good communication skills. You Need to be confident in surgery + Medicine and possess knowledge in LA Calvings + Caesareans.

Accommodation and Vehicle are both provided with this position.

This is a full time position; the vet will be required to work 40 hours per week, standard hours are 9.00am to 6.30pm. There is 1:2 on call rota which is generally not busy and 1:2 weekends consisting of 2 hours on Saturday morning then on call and Sunday on call.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years UK experience with previous experience of leading a team. You will also be a team player who is assertive, self-driven, keen to learn and be able lead an enthusiastic team of one other Vet, 3 RVN’s &amp; 1 student VN.

This is a full time position working 4.5 days a week with an additional half day following a weekend worked. 1:8 on call rota, 1 full weekend in 8 (Saturday 8.30am – 5pm emergency and in patient care on the Sunday) and 1 Saturday in 8 consulting at branches nearby (8.30pm – 5pm).

         <description>We have a fantastic opportunity for a small animal veterinary surgeon to work on a permanent basis in a 100% small animal practice in Essex. This practice is situated in a busy town, and it is only a short train journey into central London. 

This practice has all the up-to-date toys including colour Doppler ultrasound, endoscopes, asif, bp monitoring etc. They have a young 8 vet forward thinking team with a visiting specialist. 

The vet will be required to work full time hours between Monday to Friday, 4 day week, 8.30am to 7.00pm. The vet will be required to work 1 night on call during the week, 1:2 Saturday mornings and 1:8 weekends.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 8.30am – 6.30pm with consults starting at 9am. There are 1:5 on calls, this involves a Saturday morning 8.30am – 12.30pm then you will be required to hold the phone for the rest of the weekend.

There will be approximately 1 evening on call during the week.
