| A small animal Veterinary Surgeon is required on a permanent basis starting ASAP at a busy practice in Ayrshire. This 100% small animal practice has 4 vets on site and a supportive team of nurses. There is an excellent rapport amongst staff which provides a great team environment. All their surgeries are fully computerised and integrated. They have fully equipped surgical suites including facilities for anaesthesia delivery and monitoring, radiography (including dental radiography), ultrasonography, surgical procedures, pre and post operative hospitalisation, intensive and nursing care. The dental suite includes facilities for anaesthesia, radiography, dental cleaning, polishing and surgical extractions. They are a specialist unit, able to do many procedures, including root canal work. The laboratory equipment for in-house analysis of blood samples and microbiological material. This allows them to offer pre-anaesthetic blood screening and same day results for many tests, cutting down their waiting time. This is a full time position, you will be required to work Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week. There is no out of hours involved and 2:4 Saturday mornings involved. 1:4 Sundays involved which is only a couple of hours cover. Accommodation can be provided for which is located near the practice, bust you would need a car.
