| Our client is looking to recruit a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis to start at their 100% small animal practice in Essex. You will be working across two practices within commutable distance to one another. They expect their Vets to build a loyal clientele and they pride themselves on providing a stable service. They have a well equipped in-house laboratory with a fully qualified laboratory technician. They also have digital radiography, flexible and rigid videoendoscopy and an ultrasound scanner. The Vet will be happy spending some of their time consulting at a branch surgery without supervision and undertake routine procedures including neutering and lump removals. There is also the opportunity to develop more advanced surgical and medical skills. This is a full time position. Each week, Monday to Thursday, you will have two regular evening surgeries and one afternoon off. The remaining working day ends routinely at 5.30pm. There is a 2 in 8 weekend rota with an additional 1 in 8 Saturday morning clinic. In each cycle you get one long weekend with the Friday off. Competitive salary available, funding for CPD and you will also have the use of a car.
