| Our client is looking to recruit a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis to work weekends at their small animal practice in Hampshire. This position is to start as soon as possible. They are 100% Small Animal, they consist of a team of 3 Veterinary Surgeons and 5 1/2 Nurses, all of which possess high clinical standards. They are a well equipped SA surgery in a modern, purpose built building with Digital X-ray and Digital dental X-ray, 3 endoscopes, Ultrasound, ECG, BP monitoring, Infusion pumps, Multi-parameter GA monitoring equipment. You will be working 1 weekend in 4 – Saturday 8.30am to 12.30pm consults (with receptionist and nurse support) and then oncall/inpatients until 11pm. Sunday oncall/inpatients 8.30am to 11pm. Ideally the Friday before also from 4pm for evening consults or 7pm for oncall until 11pm (this is not essential though). The client is looking for an individual with a minimum of 2 years experience; someone who is confident and competent in all aspects of their veterinary work.
