An established veterinary hospital in Cambridgeshire requires a qualified or experienced veterinary nurse to join their busy team as a night nurse. This practice is situated in a friendly market town north east of Peterborough. This town has a great deal to offer the visitor and is well regarded for its interesting character. The successful candidate will be working in a team consisting of 3 vets, 4 nurses, 3 receptionists and 1 ANA. The nurse must have experience of emergency and critical care nursing. The nurse will be required to work 7 nights on then 7 nights off. The nurse will be responsible for OOH phone calls, inpatient care and assisting the veterinary surgeon with emergency cases. Due to the night duty being a full time shift the nurse will be required to do other usual nursing duties. Accommodation is available if required. Salary is negotiable and is dependent on experience.
