| We have a requirement for an experienced or qualified veterinary nurse to start asap at a practice based in Oxfordshire. The position includes working a 1 in 4 night duty, a 1 in 4 half weekend (Saturday to 6pm) and a 1 in 4 full weekend duty. It is essential that the candidate is happy to participate fully in this rota and any days that he/she is unable to work must be notified before their start date at the practice. You will work approximately 40 hours per week between 8am and 7pm on a rota. We can provide accommodation if required, but it would be a great benefit if the candidate had a current UK driving licence and their own car. We are a 5 site practice, but the position would be based at the main Animal Hospital in Abington. The candidate would report to the Head Nurse. We are a nurse training practice and the candidate would be working with both qualified nurses and those less experienced and unqualified. Good spoken and written English is essential. The practice has a great nursing team at present and I very much hope that the successful candidate would really enjoy working here!
