         <title>Veterinary - Locum Vet - Surrey</title>

         <description>We are looking to recruit a locum Veterinary Surgeon to work at a mixed practice in Surrey. The position is to start on 17th May 2010 onwards until they find a perm vet..

This mixed practice in Surrey requires a mixed animal vet to locum for them from 17TH May on an ongoing basis whilst they recruit for a permanent. This will be to join their team of 3 vets and 4 nurses

This would involve a mixed vet with to do 90% small animal and a split with Equine and Large, as you will be sole charge when you are on call.

It is a full time role and no out of hours but there is a 1 in 3 rota for the weekends. This would involve Saturday 9.00 – 10.30 then on call from 12.00 until Monday morning but you would work a full day Monday, there would be a Thursday afternoon off in the week as well.

The vet will be required to work with small and large animals as well as equine, therefore, the vet needs to be confident in all species. 

Accommodation and a car available. The accommodation will consist of a 1 bed flat; no pets unfortunately.

The full time position is for 42-48 hours per week, there are no OOHs and the weekend rota is equally shared between the vets- 1:4 Saturdays and Sundays.

They have excellent qualified and student nurses who are all dedicated to providing a high standard of care for their patients and clients.
