Kelly Worrall company news, Veterinary Surgeon

We are thrilled to welcome our latest blogger to our team of experts!

Dr Louise Cox-O'Shea will has just finished maternity leave, so has a great understanding of being a vet whilst having a family!

Here's what Louise said about writing for Recruit4vets...

'I am very pleased to be working for recuit4 vets and hope to share some of my experiences regarding the challenge of juggling family life and  a professional career. I would also hope to incorporate my views on both industry work and small animal clinical work.'

Here's a bit about Louise...

Louise grew up in Cumbria and knew from an early age that she wanted to be a vet as she spent her childhood surrounded by animals.

Louise followed her dreams and studied & graduated as a vet in 2004 from Liverpool University.

Louise's first job was as a mixed practitioner in North Wales. After 2 years she moved to the Manchester area and worked there for 4 years as a small animal vet with an interest in orthopaedics.

In 2010, Louise and her husband moved to Cumbria and back into mixed work. A few years later, they started their family and since then Louise has pursued small animal work and worked as a contributor to an online veterinary resource.

Louise and her husband have 4 small children, 2 dogs, 1 cat, a hamster and a tank full of fish! Any spare time they do get is spent with the family exploring the beautiful part of the world they currently live in and completing the renovation of their old station house.
