A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive team at a well-established practice in Telford. With a strong clinical team, modern facilities, and a welcoming work environment, this role offers a great balance of professional growth and work-life flexibility.

About the Practice:

  • The team consists of three experienced vets, including two with surgical certificates, as well as a 2023 graduate, providing a great mix of expertise and mentorship. They are supported by four skilled RVNs, an experienced front-of-house team, and a dedicated practice manager.
  • The practice is well-equipped with an in-house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound, mono/bipolar electrocautery, tonopen, and cryopen, along with complementary therapies such as acupuncture. The clinic maintains a busy and varied caseload, allowing vets to develop their skills across both consultations and surgery. A consulting-only role could also be considered for the right candidate.
  • The practice benefits from nearby shopping and dining options while being just a short drive from the stunning Shropshire countryside, as well as Shrewsbury and Birmingham for those seeking city amenities.

The Role & Work-Life Balance:

  • Full-time position – 40 hours per week (negotiable)
  • Flexible working patterns available, including longer days or school hours
  • 1:4 Saturday rota 09:00-17:00
  • No out-of-hours (OOH) work
  • Opportunity for consulting-only role if preferred
