We are working with a client who is looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to start at their friendly and professional practice near Wokingham, Berkshire on a part-time basis.
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgeries have been designed to industry-leading standards and have state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. The team currently consists of 2 Vets, 3 Nurses and a fantastic Reception team.
Due to continuing growth of the practice our client is able to offer this rewarding position which is permanent and part-time. This part-time role covers 2 days a week, with weekends on a 1 in 3 rota basis. There will be occasional sole charge but no out of hours responsibility.
You will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care and as this role plays a key part within a small, friendly team the ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible. You will also have good general surgical and medical skills and experience in emergency surgery. The practice has a great client base with a high percentage of insured pets, which allows variety in the role.
