Are you looking for an opportunity to develop and play an instrumental role in driving the practice forward, clinically and commercially?
We are working with a small animal veterinary practice that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis as their Senior Vet/Clinical Director.
This well-established practice has cared for the pets of West Norfolk for over 80 years. Along with their second branch practice, they provide healthcare for companion animals with an emphasis on personal care, diagnosis and treatment. Both practices are centrally located with free car parking. They have modern equipment and excellent facilities with the support of a highly skilled and caring team. They treat their clients and their pets as individuals and tailor the care to suit their needs.
You will be joining a practice of four vets, which includes an advanced practitioner in cardiology, a certificate holder in internal medicine and will be supported by a team of dedicated and expert nurses and receptionists. The practice has ultrasound, colour doppler, digital x-ray, in house idexx lab, slit lamp, endoscopy, and a qualified behaviourist on staff.
This unique opportunity has arisen for an expert veterinary surgeon with potential to progress to clinical director. This is a permanent full-time position working four days a week, which will also include a weekend rota of one in five and an out of hours rota of one in five.
This position would be ideal for someone who has experience and is looking to take the next step in their career. You will have the opportunity to develop and move into a clinical director position, and play an instrumental role in driving the practice forward, clinically and commercially. Previous management experience would be an advantage but not essential.
In return, our client is offering a competitive salary that is reflective of experience, 25 day holiday a year, CPD budget and car can be provided if required.
