We are working with a lovely independent practice located in Sittingbourne, Kent, that requires an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a permanent basis.
This independent practice was established in 1992 and has a friendly and welcoming staff including 3 vets, 6 nurses and care assistants, and an excellent nonclinical support team. The practice is housed in a beautiful building and is well-equipped with the necessary tools and technology to deliver exceptional standards of care. Consultations are by appointment only, except in cases of emergency. The practice has a digital X-ray machine, in-house laboratory, operating theatre and dental equipment.
This is a permanent full-time position. Working hours are as follows: Monday 9am to 5pm, Tuesday 9am to 5pm, Wednesday 10:30am to 6:30pm, Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday 10:30am to 6:30pm although these are subject to change as the practice has a new Head Nurse joining the team. There is a Saturday morning rota of 1:2 working between 8:30am and 12pm which could move to 1:4. There is no out of hours responsibility.
In return the practice can offer a competitive salary of around £20,000 depending on experience and hours worked, funding and encouragement for relevant CPD, RCVS fees covered, 28 days holiday (no requirement to work bank holidays), and a lovely practice environment to work in with fantastic clients.
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys all aspects of nursing, and will strive to be a dedicated and proactive member of the team.
