We are currently recruiting on behalf of a friendly independent practice based in North London, who are looking for a full time Lead Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis.
Our client is a friendly, independent group of practices in the North London area. This is a RVC accredited training practice which has been recently refurbished and has excellent, modern facilities. They are a well-structured group with supportive management team and an excellent client base. The practice are able to offer a large range of in house services; which enables them to offer care for many more complex cases without the need to travel to a referral centre as they access to vets who are an orthopaedic surgeon, a specialist in diagnostic imaging and ultrasound, certificate holders in ophthalmology, general veterinary practice, small animal medicine and surgery as well as a member of the association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists. This practice has also been accredited as a small animal general practice by the RCVS which means they must adhered to the strict standards set by the RCVS.
Our client is looking for charismatic senior Vet to lead the team and influence the direction and success of the practice. The role is full time and will either be 4 days per week or 3 whole days and 2 half days. 1:2 Saturdays 8:30 am - 5 pm 1:6 Sundays 9 am - 12 pm. Weekdays are 8 am - 7 pm with a one hour lunch break. There is no on call included in this position.
Salary and Benefits:
In return, they are offering an excellent package worth £55,000-£62,000 that includes:
£12,000 housing allowance, £2,500 vehicle allowance - these allowances are added to the base salary and paid out monthly, with the salary.
