We are currently working with a state of the art, expanding practice in Cornwall. The practice is looking to recruit an experienced, forward thinking, small animal veterinary surgeon to join their dynamic team.
The practice is a high quality veterinary healthcare provider, offering a full range of affordable equine, large and small animal veterinary services to customers. They offer a range of clinical services from preventative healthcare through to complex medical, surgical and orthopaedic procedures. The practice has superb, highly spacious, purpose-built surroundings, across 3 sites, dealing with multiple operating theatres, six consulting rooms, digital x-ray and in-house laboratory. They also have an experienced team of 5 SA Vets and see a varied caseload.
This is a permanent full-time role with hours between 08:30am to 17:00pm. 1:6 weekends, 1 night on call per week (possible 1:2). The practice offers a great opportunity for an experienced vet (min 3 yrs.) to join a supportive team and progress their careers, skills and knowledge. This role is at a busy practice with a mixed varied caseload.
In return, the practice is offering a competitive salary (DOE). They offer CPD and support in becoming a certificate holder. They also offer membership to the local Country Club and Spa. Short term accommodation is available to assist in any re-location.
The ideal candidate would be an excellent communicator, can be adaptive, get on with people and be a forward thinker. They should like a busy, fast-paced, challenging environment.
