We are working an established practice in St Neots that is looking for a senior Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis.
This practice is modern and bright and with state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, BP monitoring and separate cat and dog wards. The practice sees a real mix of patients and cases and due to the number of insured clients, they can fully work up cases to a high standard.
The practice opened 2 years ago and has a passionate and talented team made up of 2 vets, 2 RVNs with a practice manager and dedicated reception team. They have a great reputation and are known locally for their excellent customer service and high level of patient care. The team holds a range of interests including animal behaviour, physiotherapy and exotics.
This is a full-time, permanent position with weekends on a rota of 1:4. There is occasional sole charge but no out of hours responsibility.

This position is for a Senior vet who is commercially minded with strong surgical skills. The practice is looking to significantly increase the surgical caseload and service offering to clients, and they would like a vet who will relish the challenge of expanding the clinical practice and engaging with the local community. Previous experience managing other veterinary surgeons is highly desirable, but the practice is also keen to hear from applicants who have a been a driver in a high performing team.
