We are currently recruiting for a multi-disciplinary first opinion & referral practice based in the North West of England. They are looking to recruit a permanent first opinion small animal veterinary surgeon to be based in one of their charming, modern, well-equipped local community surgeries. This is a lovely opportunity for either a full time permanent vet or two vets working as a job share in a part time permanent capacity.
This veterinary group is owned by a team of experienced veterinary surgeons who can offer a professional first opinion and referral service both in the local community and nationally. Their dedicated team of vets and nurses are happy to provide a comprehensive and caring service from their local branch practices as well as their small animal hospital which is at the centre of their referral network. This clinic has a variety of excellent facilities including X-ray, ultrasound, dental, blood sampling, home visits and nurse clinics. The advantage being back up & support is always available from the main small animal hospital which offers a host of facilities including MRI Scanning and CT Scanning and has a large team of first opinion and Referral specialist vets to help diagnose and treat all small animals as efficiently as possible. The Referral team includes specialists in orthopaedics, dermatology, soft tissue, internal medicine, cardiology, imaging, oncology and exotics.
This is a permanent first opinion small animal veterinary surgeon position, both full or part-time hours would be considered e.g. two vets working part time in a job share post. It would be working sole charge with 3 nurses, 2 of which are qualified RVNs. Mon – Fri 9.00 – 18.30 with a late night on Wednesday to 19.30. 1:4 Saturday mornings – across 2 branches 9.00 – 13.30 – No OOHs.
Fabulous opportunity for two-part time vets to share this position or one committed and dedicated small animal vet, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience’ who will have access to the main hospital facilities and services.
