Permanent Veterinary Surgeon x 2 – St. Helens, Lancashire
We are currently recruiting for a multi-disciplinary first opinion & referral practice based in the North West of England. They are looking to recruit 2 permanent full time first opinion small animal veterinary surgeons working 50/50 in one of their local branches and their main hospital.
This veterinary group is owned by a team of experienced veterinary surgeons who can offer a professional first opinion and referral service both in the local community and nationally. Their dedicated team of vets and nurses are happy to provide a comprehensive and caring service from their local branch practices as well as their small animal hospital which is at the centre of their referral network. This clinic has a variety of excellent facilities including X-ray, ultrasound, dental, blood sampling, home visits and nurse clinics. The advantage being back up & support is always available from the main small animal hospital which offers a host of facilities including MRI Scanning and CT Scanning and has a large team of first opinion and referral specialist vets to help diagnose and treat all small animals as efficiently as possible. The referral team includes specialists in orthopaedics, dermatology, soft tissue, internal medicine, cardiology, imaging, oncology and exotics.
This is a permanent, first opinion small animal veterinary surgeon position working 50% of the time at one of their local branch surgeries and 50% at their hospital 4 days per week 8.30 – 18.30 with a late night to 20.00 once a week -½ day in lieu plus a further ½ day for admin. 1:8 Saturdays 8am- 16.00 and Sunday 9.00-13.00. This post includes some sole charge while working in branch and NO OOHs.
