We are currently recruiting on behalf of an independent practice in Canterbury, Kent, who are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Practice: 

This practice is a friendly, family ran veterinary practice in Canterbury, Kent, with state of the art general veterinary facilities. They currently have a team of 8 nurses. 

Their state of the art facilities include digital X-ray and ultrasound, full surgical facilities with separate cat and dog operating theatres and wards, air powered dental equipment, in-house lab equipment, laser therapy, endoscopy.

The Role: 

This is a full-time permanent position, although the practice may also consider part time hours. As full-time the role involves working 40 hours a week on shifts of either 8am to 4pm, or 12pm to 8pm. There is no out of hours responsibility with this role. There is a weekend rota of 1 in 6, working Saturdays between 8:30am and 5:30pm, and Sundays between 12pm and 8pm. After working the weekend nurses receive the following Monday and Friday off in lieu. 

In return the practice can offer a competitive salary of between £20,000 and £26,000.  

The Candidate: 

The ideal candidate will be a registered veterinary nurse with at least 3 years of experience. The nurse will ideally enjoy running nurse clinics and working as a proactive member of a dedicated team.
