We are working with a client based in the Crawley area of West Sussex that is looking for a full-time Head Veterinary Nurse on a permanent basis.
This is a busy, purpose built clinic based in a rural setting with ten vets and plenty of support staff on site.
They have amazing facilities, including their own CT scanner, hydrotherapy pool, 2 surgical theatres, separate cat, dog and exotics ward, digital x-ray and an ultrasound and endoscopy suite, amongst much more.
The location has very good transport links to London via the M23, A246 & A24, making it also very accessible to the beautiful countryside of both Surrey & West Sussex (20 minutes from London Gatwick Airport and 40 minutes from Brighton).
The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as the day-to-day running of the practice. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team.
As a Head Veterinary Nurse you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing best practice with your team and helping to support and develop the student nurses in your practice.
The ideal candidate will offer the highest standards of clinical and client care and be willing to provide valuable peer support to patient care assistants. You will be an experienced veterinary nurse with previous experience of the head nurse role.
