We are working with a practice based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire that is looking to recruit a Registered Veterinary Nurse on a full-time permanent basis.
The Practice is a modern and bright purpose built RCVS registered Small Animal Hospital, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are conveniently located near to major road networks and public transport links, and only a few miles from the Peak District.They are also an RCVS registered Small Animal Emergency Services Clinic. As well as their own onsite hydrotherapy centre they have a wide range of other services and facilities including Endoscopy. They have experience in a range of orthopaedic work with a number of skilled vets working in the practice. Their multi-disciplinary colleagues take a range of referrals from soft tissue surgery through to orthopaedics and diagnostic imaging.
This is a full-time permanent position for a Registered Veterinary Nurse. You will be joining an experienced large team of Vets, Nurses and a dedicated out of hours team. The working hours are 42 per week with 1 in 2 weekends on a rota basis. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care within a friendly team. There are numerous development opportunities working within our clients’ practice including Hydrotherapy and specialist surgical nurse consults.
You will have good general veterinary nursing experience, great customer service skills, be friendly, down-to-earth, have a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike. Our client can offer:-
