We are currently recruiting for a lovely family-run practice in Coventry who are looking to recruit a full time veterinary surgeon to start ASAP on a permanent basis.
Our well established client has been trusted by generations of Coventry pet owners. They have grown over the years, but are proud to still be an independent family-run practice, at the heart of the local community. The strong team of 12 vets are caring and experienced veterinary professionals who make full use of the latest advances in veterinary medicine to look after their clients pet's health. They are passionate about treating pets the way they should be - as one of the family.
Their facilities include; 6 consultation rooms, 2 operating theatres, separate cat and dog wards, ultrasound, digital x-ray, in house Lab, endoscope, dental unit, isolation unit and intensive care ward.
The role is full-time 5 day week, shifts will be mostly 8:30-6:00, with either 10:45-7:30 or 12:00-8:00+ once a week, and an 8:30-3:00 once a week.
The weekend rota is 1:3 Saturdays at the most - if you work a Saturday you get a day off in the week.
Sole charge is rare as you will be usually consulting alongside 1 or 2 others.
Our client has 3 sites but you would be mainly based at one site for continuity. This site is where all operations/procedures are undertaken, the branches really being "distant" consulting rooms.
A practice van is available for home visits and going to and from branch sites.

The ideal candidate will be a friendly person who enjoys working as part of a team, with around 2 years' experience
