We are currently recruiting on behalf of an independent small animal veterinary practice in Lincolnshire who are looking for a dedicated small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
Our client is a three centre small veterinary practice which covers parts of the Lincolnshire. The practice treats pets of the Lincolnshire area.
All three centres have fully equipped consulting rooms, kennels, and operating theatres with X-ray facilities and can cope with anything from stitching a cut leg to repairing a broken bone with intramedullary pins or orthopaedic plates. They are dedicated to giving the best quality of care and making use of the latest technology in the diagnosis and treatment of animals
The practice also has Ultrasound Scanners, an ECG machine, Bronchoscopy and Endoscopy equipment. Our client is dedicated to giving the best quality of care and making use of the latest technology in the diagnosis and treatment of animals. They have recently invested in some intense blood testing equipment to avoid the delays of using an outside laboratory.
Vets are encouraged to attend courses and conferences to ensure the latest treatments and techniques are used where applicable on the cases they manage.
There are currently 6 vets (3 directors, 3 assistants), plus a great nursing team.
This is a full-time vet position, that is 100% small animal work. There is a 1:5 OOH and weekend rota (consults 9am-1pm on a Saturday, then on call) with time off in lieu for weekends worked.
Standard working hours will be within the opening hours of 8.30am and 7pm Monday-Friday with a generous lunch break in the middle.
This is a friendly and supportive practice, with certificate holding directors and any level of experience would be considered, including new grads.
