We are working with a veterinary hospital near to the border of South East London and Kent that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This is job would suit a vet with 1-5 years post-graduate experience so that you can take an active role in the practices strong, diverse and supportive team.
This well established independent Tier 3 veterinary practice can be found in an easily accessible location in Kent. As well as their main hospital practice they have a total of 7 clinics which are accessible around the Kent area. Throughout their practices, they are able to cater for cats, dogs, rabbits and most small furries & exotics and have created as soothing an environment as possible for their patients and their owners. Their vets are able to build long-lasting relationships with their clients and have access to a wide range of diagnostic tools.
The practice has all the equipment you would expect of a hospital along with separate cat and dog wards, 3 theatres, 2 dental suites, 2 imaging areas, and a visiting MRI.
This is a full-time permanent position, the full shift pattern is to be confirmed but will include working every other weekend and being part of the second on-call rota OOH.
Diagnostics are an important part of our clients work and you will be encouraged to work up cases to the best of your ability before referring them internally if needed. Because the team is strong and supportive, your cases can remain under your management with input from colleagues if you wish.

You will be an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon with between 1-5 years post graduate experience. This will enable you to take an active role in our clients strong, diverse and supportive team, working across all of their sites and shifts. You will get to know all of the client groups and support staff across the practices before most probably moving into a more predictable role for your 2nd job with the group.
You will be a confident communicator with a proactive approach to veterinary medicine and the desire to deliver exceptional customer care in all you do.
They actively support the development of skills and knowledge through a CPD allowance and additional time off. Vets wanting to undertake a certificate will be given greater financial support and time.
