Wonderful opportunity for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, compassionate, independent caring practice based in Kent on a permanent basis.

The Practice:

Working with 1 other vet and 5 nurses in this expanding practice with a growing client base - their top priority is to offer the best possible service and care to their clients and their pets. They can perform a number of different surgical procedures on site, including neutering, knee surgery, soft tissue surgeries, plus more. They have a modern surgery with two consulting rooms, X-ray, operating theatre, their own in-house lab and can offer a complete veterinary care service including vaccinations, micro-chipping, insurance and 24-hour emergency.

The Role:

This is a permanent full-time position working between 38-40 hours per week between 8.30 am -7.30 pm Monday to Friday & 1:2 Saturdays 9 am - 5 pm. There are no on call of out of hours requirements, but some sole charge is required on alternate Saturdays and when the other vet is absent.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in practice, with good communication skills. They will be client focused, caring, dedicated, hardworking, adaptable and very keen to learn. You will also be a team player and career focused.
