We are currently working with an independent veterinary surgery with two practices based in affluent locations close to the Hampshire and Berkshire borders with great commuter links into Central London and motorway access to the south coast.
Our client is looking for a fully qualified RVN to join their steadfast and dedicated team.
This is a well-established RCVS accredited practice with a fabulous loyal client base. Aside from health checks, nurse clinics and surgical procedures, they are also able to offer specialist services to further enhance their clients’ healthcare. They have a team of 5 vets and 6 nurses plus support. Their team includes a qualified feline medicine specialist who can provide a detailed examination and diagnosis of any health problems in cats. Additionally, acupuncture sessions are available for a variety of pets and have proven success in treating chronic pain, arthritis, and skin infections, to name but a few. Both surgeries provide a full range of surgical, diagnostic and medical facilities including: vaccinations, microchipping, pet passports, free health checks and advice for newly acquired puppies and kittens, dentistry, ECG, diagnostic imaging, acupuncture and TSE, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, on-site laboratory - same day lab results, free weight checks & advice on nutrition, & nurse clinics.
This is a full time permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse post working Monday to Friday 8.30-19.30, with a weekend rota of 1:4 Saturday 8.30-17.00 & Sunday 8.30-14.00, no OOHs or on call.
This post will suit a qualified RVN who is compassionate, a good team player and has very good customer service skills.
