We are currently recruiting for a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join practice based in South Wales, around Bridgend area on a permanent basis.
The practice has a large, experienced and lovely team that work together within their busy hospital.
They currently have a fantastic team of 8 Vets and 8 Nurses. They are all supportive and approachable; always offering advice and support as and when necessary to clients and also each other!
This practice offers outstanding standards of small animal care and Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons highest Tier 3 accredited diagnostic and treatment facilities. They have a wide range of facilities available including 24 hour nursing care, Intensive Care Facilities such as oxygen units and intravenous fluid pumps. Operating facilities and diagnostic equipment such as ultrasound machines, operating theatres, endoscopy and ECG.
This would be a full time role, working a 12 week rota, averaging 40 hours per week. There are some nights and weekend duties required within the rota, but you will be given notice of these in advance. They tend to work out to be 2-3 full weekends in practice with time back in lieu and 7-10 nights (those being 20:00 - 08:00, working a night shift). The normal working hours through the week will be between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00. These will be a mix of 6, 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts depending on what is needed at the time.
In return for this the practice are offering a fantastic salary of £21,840 along with a competitive CPD allowance, holiday and discounts on services and products in practice.
