We are currently recruiting on behalf of a veterinary practice situated in Oxfordshire, which requires a Qualified Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a permanent full time basis, starting ASAP.

The Practice:

Our client is proud to be an Accredited tier three hospital Practice under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons’ Practice Standards Scheme. To become accredited, the practice has to be rigorously inspected every four years, and has to meet a range of minimum standards including hygiene, 24 hour emergency cover, staff training and providing certain types of equipment. The practices main hospital is based in Oxfordshire and also has branch surgeries, all of which are accredited to Core Standards. They have facilities including X-Ray, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, ECG, fluid therapy, blood sampling in their on-site laboratory and 24 hour nursing care. At present they consist of 7 vets, 8 qualified nurses and 3 trainees.

The practice provide nursing clinics for their patients including weight clinics, advise on dental issues, older pets, diabetic treatment and PETS passport travel advice.

The Role:

This position is full time working 40 hours per week and will include 1 weeknight OOH each week and 1:5 weekends.

The week day shift times are as follows: 08:00-17:00, 08:15-17:15 and 10:00-19:00.
