An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse position to join our clients busy, small animal (training) practice in County Durham on a permanent basis. This practice is perched high on the North Pennines and is within easy reach of Newcastle & Durham, but surrounded by fine countryside.
This practice prides itself on strong core values, striving to provide the highest standard of care with nurses playing a vital role in maintaining these high clinical standards. All of their nurses are valued and used to their full potential by undertaking a full range of nursing duties such as anesthetic monitoring and recovery, inpatient care, blood sampling, nursing clinics (physiotherapy, laser, puppies parties, and weight clinics) and radiography.

This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week including an equal share of weekend shifts and nights (which are paid 'sleeping shifts' from 11pm-7am). If a nurse works a weekend shift, which they will work as part of the 3 weekends out of 8 rota, they will typically have two days off during the week as these weekend shifts make up part of their 40 hour week.
