We are currently working on behalf of a small animal practice in Lancashire who are looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.
This is a friendly and progressive practice that has invested well and continues to do so. Our clients’ have a large fully-equipped operating suite for surgery, dental treatment, x-rays and ultrasound, with separate dog and cat wards. Their professional team is committed to providing quality care and treatment to all pets. Our clients’ extensive facilities and services include Health checks, In-house laboratory, radiology, ultrasound, haematology, biochemistry, dental hygiene, blood tests, micro-chipping and full operating facilities. Our client treat small animals and exotic's including birds, ferrets and rabbits.
Our clients’ require an experienced veterinary surgeon to work 4 days per week 2 days 0900 - 19.00 and 2 days 0900 to 18.00) then 1 in 3 on the Saturday morning rota (09.00 - 12.30). There are no out of hours. The practice deals with a broad case-load including exotics, though could happily take on someone that is looking to advance a specialist. Caesareans and cruciate ligament surgery is common at the practice.
