We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Senior Veterinary Surgeon to start at a friendly and professional practice in the Gosport area of Hampshire.
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments.
The practice owner has nearly 20 years experience as a Veterinary surgeon and also a large interest in surgery and orthopaedics. The practice has a team of 4 vets, one of which also has an interest in Ophthalmology and can offer a varied and interesting caseload. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x ray and endoscopes and the surgical kit to allow for an increased level of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery is currently being developed.
The practice itself is based on England's south coast of Gosport which offers 24 miles of waterfront and safe panoramic beaches and is also based just a 2 hour train ride from London.
This is a rare opportunity to join a successful and established business with partnership opportunity for the right individual. As a team our client values work-life balance and the practice does not open Sundays or bank holidays and they do not have on-call or OOH. Any over-time, which happens in any vet business, they store and use it for flexible days off. Their rota is consistent but they can change it to accommodate your special plans like the long weekend away or the school trips.
The ideal candidate will be competent with general surgery and emergency procedures. There may be periods of sole charge so you must be comfortable with this.
Our client offers a great package and benefits including a competitive salary, CPD, comprehensive benefits and a full range of exclusive discounts for use within the group.
