We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic small animal veterinary surgeon on a full or part time basis to start at a friendly and professional practice in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales.
Our clients practice is modern, bright and spacious which is fully equipped with state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, dentistry machines and x-ray, ultrasound, vetscan, isolation unit, cattery unit and an in house laboratory.
Due to the practices continued growth you will have the opportunity to work within a talented and forward thinking team, consisting of the Partner and Veterinary Surgeon, 1 Nurse, 1 Student Nurse, 1 VCA, a Practice Manager and 2 Client Care Advisors.
Just half an hours drive from Cardiff and close to the M4, the surgery is easily reached, and due to being based on busy retail park, onsite car parking is also available.

The role is full or part time with weekends on a rota basis and there is no OOH requirement.
You must have a good general surgical and medical background and be confident and happy with sole charge, as this is an occasional requirement of the role. High standards of patient care is expected, with an emphasis on excellent client relationships and thorough case work ups.
The successful applicant will have great people skills, a good general surgical and medical background and will work well in a team.
