Permanent small animal Veterinary Surgeon required for well-established practice based in Tiverton, Devon.
This practice is a well-established 4 branch practice based in Tiverton. They offer 24-hour around the clock care to family pets, llamas and herds of cattle. They have an experienced team of 4 Large Animal Vets and 3 Small Animal Vets. They also have a team of 5 nurses and auxiliary staff devoted to the well-being of all animals and offer a full complement of services including nurse clinics and consultations, puppy parties and much more. This practices are well equipped and have 6 theatres across the four branches, full surgical and medical facilities are available to response to any need, including general surgery, fracture fixing, bone repair, dentistry, x-ray, ultrasound, spays and castrations, soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures, chemotherapy, in-house laboratory and hospitalisation facilities, microchipping, pet passports etc.
This is a full time role, 4.5 days per week. 1:8 full weekends on call with a further 2 Sat morning Surgery’s consulting 9am-12pm within this rotation. Generous time off in lieu following weekend on call.
The practice are looking for a vet surgeon who is comfortable to perform OOH’s duties and good basic surgeries.
They are looking for the right person to join their team therefore are happy to consider all experience.
