We are currently recruiting for a purpose-built, modern veterinary practice situated in Portsmouth (opening in July); they require a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join them on full-time permanent basis.
Our client is a low-cost, high quality veterinary healthcare provider, offering a full range of affordable small animal veterinary services to clients, operating a no appointment, walk-in clinic system. They offer a range of clinical services from preventative healthcare through to complex medical, surgical and orthopaedic procedures. They have superb, spacious, purpose-built surroundings with two operating theatres, six consulting rooms, digital x-ray and an up-to-date Idexx in-house laboratory.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic small animal Veterinary Surgeon with at least two years of qualified experience, who is passionate about the provision of high quality service to patients and clients.
You must be fully flexible to work shifts within the practice opening hours which are 8 am - 7 pm Monday-Friday. You will be part of the weekend rota too, working every other Saturday 9 am - 1 pm. You will get time off during the week to make up for the weekend hours worked. Please note, these opening hours will change as the customer base grows.
You must have good surgical experience and be confident working sole charge at times. You must be passionate about delivering top quality veterinary and customer care.
