We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse on a full-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Leicester, Leicestershire.

Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. You will be joining a supportive team made up of 2 vets, 2 RVNs, and 2 receptionists
Our client is looking for a highly motivated veterinary nurse for this permanent position. This is a full-time position across 4 days per week with a weekend rota of 1 in 3. There will be some sole charge responsibility but no out of hours ensuring a healthy work/life balance.
The ideal candidate will be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. They expect a good level of general nursing and for the right candidate, there is potential to progress into the role of a senior nurse. Your communication skills will be the key to your success as they are looking for someone that will really fit in with the rest of the team.
