We are working with a client with a practice based in St Helens, Merseyside that has an exciting opportunity for a small animal Veterinary surgeon to join them on a full or part-time permanent basis.
Our cleints’ modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards with state of the art equipment including digital x-rays and in-house laboratory facilities. This is a great opportunity to support the continued growth of the client base, loyal owners committed to obtaining the best care for their pets. The practice is in a convenient location close to two train stations and close to the motorways.
This is a full or part-time permanent position for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon. You will be required to work weekends on a 1 in 3 rota. There will also be some sole charge so candidates must be able to do routine consults & surgery. There is no OOH requirement. This is a key role within a small team so the ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible.
You should be a confident surgeon with general surgical and medical skills, capable of working sole charge at times, and with a strong customer-service focus. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. You will also enjoy a variety of cases and have the ability to work these up to a high standard. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of your patients. You will also have the opportunity to study towards a certificate as this is strongly encouraged.
