We are working with a practice based in Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full or part-time permanent basis.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients’ friendly team in Kirkby in Ashfield. They are conveniently situated just off the M1, within easy reach of various amenities. Nottingham is also close by for shopping and nightlife!
You will be joining a close knit team of 1.5 Vets, 3 RVNs 1 SVN and 2 Receptionists. The position is available due to the continued growth of this progressive practice. The bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including Digital x-ray, ultrasound.
This rewarding position for a Veterinary Surgeon is full or part-time and permanent. Ideally for 40 hours per week although our clients’ can be flexible depending on your circumstances. There will be 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis but no OOH!
You should be a confident surgeon with general surgical and medical skills, capable of working sole charge at times, and with a strong customer-service focus. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. You will also enjoy a variety of cases and have the ability to work these up to a high standard. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of your patients. You will also have the opportunity to study towards a certificate as this is strongly encouraged.
