We are working with a practice based Northwich, Cheshire that is looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a part-time permanent basis.

Conveniently situated just off the M6, Northwich offers the convenience of easy links to Manchester and Liverpool, as well as the picturesque Peak District for those looking to spend time outdoors.

The practice partner is a Liverpool graduate leading a supportive and experienced team of 2 Vets, 2 RVNs and 2 Receptionists. Having opened earlier this year, they have already achieved Silver status as an Accredited ISFM cat-friendly practice! They have a loyal client-base and enjoy a varied caseload, seeing around 25% small furries. You’ll be working in a modern surgery with a well-equipped theatre, digital x-ray and ultrasound.

The Role:

This is a permanent position for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon. The position is part time, ideally working around 10-20 hours per week depending on your circumstances. There are 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis, however this is negotiable for the right candidate. With no OOH requirements you’ll get a great work/life balance. The team encourage good case development both medically and surgically and fully support CPD.

The Candidate:

You will be confident in all aspects of everyday small animal medicine and surgery including lab result interpretation, internal medicine and ultrasound. You will be skilled in building strong relationships with patients and clients and you will enjoy working in a team environment.
