We are currently working with a practice that is accredited under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme as a Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital. This means that they meet strict standards for facilities, care and training and are regularly inspected.
They are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full-time permanent basis, ideally they would like an RVN with 12 months experience but would consider a 2nd year SVN.
The hospital provides 24 hour care for dogs, cats, birds and other small animals 365 days a year. The hospital has a wide team of vets, nurses and support staff, they have a cat ward, dog ward, exotic ward and an isolation ward and their facilities include two operating theatres, digital x-rays, modern dental facilities including dental x-rays, ECG ultrasound and in-house laboratory
This is a forward-thinking practice and the successful candidate will be an accommodating individual, keen to participate in a supportive team and to learn and develop in accordance with their own and the needs & that of the business. They would prefer a nurse with at least 12 months experience but would consider a second year SVN. This is a friendly practice with an existing talented and caring team that are keen to embrace a further like-minded caring professional.
They are looking for a small animal RVN to join them on a permanent basis. This is a full-time position, based on a 37.5 hour week which includes various shift patterns, weekends are 1:6 with the following Friday off. There are no out of hours but this may change due to covering holidays.
In return, the suitable applicant will be awarded with a salary up to £21,500 (DOE) plus annual CPD allowance, pension scheme & fees paid to the RCVS, VDS.
