We are working with a practice based in East London that is looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
The bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built and has substantial equipment including; digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, dentistry facilities including separate dental x-ray, endoscopy and ECG. The practice sees a wide variety of cases including internal medicine, surgery and some orthopaedic procedures so this is a great opportunity for a new graduate to gain experience in routine surgery and exposure to complex procedures. You will be joining a friendly team of 3 vets, 4 veterinary nurses and 1 receptionist.
This is a full-time permanent position for a Veterinary Surgeon with a weekend rota of 1 in 3. There is no OOH requirement with this role and only occasional sole charge (Sundays) with support provided if needed. Due to the experience within our clients’ existing team, they can consider applications from newly qualified vets as well as experienced vets.
Our client is looking for someone confident, friendly and enthusiastic with great communication skills. You’ll have good general small animal surgical and medical abilities and a desire to learn and improve. Ideally you will have experience of working in a busy environment, where client and patient care are key.
