We are working with a practice based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire that is looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
Our clients’ busy and established practice based in Hemel Hempstead has a vacancy for a full time veterinary surgeon to join their team! They are conveniently located for easy access to the M25 and with direct train routes into London Euston in under 30 minutes. You will be joining a friendly and happy team made up of 3 vets, 2 RVNs, 1 student nurse, 1 veterinary care assistant and 2 receptionists. The practice has all of the normal toys including digital X-ray, ultrasound and in house lab. This practice offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols.
This is a permanent full-time position for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon with a weekend rota of 1 in 3. There is no OOHs responsibility and sole charge only when working over the weekend.
You will be personable and approachable and enjoy building relationships with patients, clients and the team. Due to the experience within the existing team, applications from newly qualified vets as well as experienced vets are welcome. Experienced vets will need to be confident with all routine surgical and medical cases. You will also have the opportunity to study towards a certificate as this is strongly encouraged.
