We are currently working with an independent practice in Ross-shire, they are looking for a mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis.
The practice have over 70 years of experience,making them Scotland's longest established veterinary clinic. Together with there longevity and professionalism, all their staff are passionate about animals, and enjoy getting to know both their clients and pets.
Since the establishment of the veterinary practice in the 1930s, they have been constantly growing. The practice principal has been caring for the animals for 30 years. They also have a further 6 vets and 7 veterinary nurses, as well as a dedicated team of administrators. The practice facilities include digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, robovet computer system, separate cat and dog wards, and equine facilities too. This practice caters for all animals, small, large and equine.
The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic,motivated and have excellent communication skills and have at least two years experience but a new graduate would also be considered
This is a full-time permanent role working a 5 day week, 1 night on call a week ( with a day off to follow,weekends are 2:7, this candidate must be able to do sole charge and be very confident with routine operations and consults and be happy to go on farm visits, in return the client is offering a competitive salary - dependent on experience

Hours: Full-time hours-working a 5 day week with 1 night on call ( time off in lieu when on call )
Weekends: shifts will include 2:7
Salary: Competitive - dependent on experience
