We are currently recruiting for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon (New Graduate) who will thrive and enjoy working in a busy independent RCVS tier 3 accredited hospital supporting local branch structure.
As you would expect from a tier 3 hospital, our client is well equipped to deliver high standards of clinical care. Their key services are delivered via equipment that is maintained and constantly modernised to provide 24 hour emergency care of their patients. They possess equipment that provides services such as endoscopy, arthroscopy, ultrasonography, dentistry, digital x-ray & full orthopaedic facilities.
Recently a new exciting addition to the Practice is that of Laser therapy, and their extensive library gives guidance with those complicated rare cases. Their in house laboratory is extensive and allows the turnaround of quick results for Biochemistry, Haematology, Electrolytes, Hormones, coagulation and blood gases.
The main hospital is situated in Kettering which is an affluent town in the rose of the shires, Northamptonshire. They benefit from many beautiful villages with lovely pubs for eating out, multiplex cinemas, a sports academy, theatre groups and many other leisure and pastimes to take advantage of. Being virtually in the middle of the country Kettering offers good links to the A14, M1 & M6 so that when you are looking to shoot off you can get anywhere quickly by either road, rail or plane, maximising relaxation. London is only 50 minutes by train.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a full-time new graduate vet to join our clients’ busy hospital practice. Working 44 hours per week, there is a shift pattern which is yet to be confirmed.1 in 3 Saturday or Sunday (6 hour shift).
Recent graduates can expect dedicated in-house mentorship. Our clients’ encourage new graduates with performing surgery and consults from day one with support always available as they believe that the best way to learn is to get involved. Our clients’ encourage individual development, CPD and certificates in personal areas of interest. Vets are given the freedom to work up cases to completion.
