We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Director to join a friendly experienced practice in beautiful Herefordshire on a full-time permanent basis.
The Practice opened in February 2006 and is a purpose built, dedicated small animal facility. Keeping their focus entirely on companion animals enables them to keep up to date with the latest advances in medical and surgical techniques, in turn providing all pets with a high standard of care. They are a purpose built, RCVS accredited practice. The practice is well equipped with Cat IV Laser, digital x-ray, colour doppler ultrasound, multiparameter, ECG, capnograph etc. You will be joining an experienced welcoming team of 3 vets, 5 RVN’s, 2 SVN’s and a reception team.
This is a permanent full-time role for a Clinical Director. However, part-time could be considered on a job share. This opportunity would suit a confident clinician, wishing to focus on excellent client and patient care. This role will include but is not limited to:
Line management of the clinical team, oversee Vets’ day rota, clinical duties, promote the best practice and customer care, take the responsibility for the resolution of complaints, identify areas of potential business growth, ensure a positive image with the local community, help oversee practice budgets.
It is essential that you are a confident clinician with a willingness to continue to promote to a high standard of clinical work and client/patient care. You will enjoy empowering and working with your team and although management experience is not essential (as they can provide full management and HR support) it would be an advantage.
Salary on offer is dependent on experience, and the company benefits include a generous CPD budget, paid BVA membership and group pension.
