We are currently recruiting on behalf of a large, independent referral practice who are looking for a cardiologist to join the team- Residency trained or diploma holder is essential - ECVIM/ACVIM (Cardiology)

The Practice:

Our client is a large multi disciplinary referral centre comprised of 36 referral level vets, from AVP’s through to board certified. The cardiology team is currently made up of two cardiologists to go to a 3 person team.

The Role:

You will be joining an incredible team of referral vets, in a fantastic working environment.

Facilities include discipline-specific consulting rooms, five large operating theatres, spacious wards, intensive care facilities, digital radiography and fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, an endoscopy suite, cardiology suite, chemotherapy treatment room, radioactive iodine suite, a hydrotherapy pool & treadmill and a spacious conference room.

Our client is one of only a handful of centres in the UK currently offering Radioiodine Treatment.

As a Clinical Associate Practice, they work closely with the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science.

The Candidate:

European or American Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology (or equivalent), or having completed an approved residency program. Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive friendly attitude are essential for effective teamwork within the practice, together with the ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues at all levels.

Salary- Negotiable/ Market rate and commensurate with experience.

A commitment to practising the highest standard of veterinary medicine, upholding the RCVS code of ethics is expected at all times.

To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and eligible to work in the UK.
