We are working with well-established small animal veterinary practice that is based in Pinner, North West London. They are a looking to recruit permanent full-time experienced Veterinary Surgeon that is comfortable with sole charge at hospital and consulting alone at 2 small branches.
This practice prides themselves on offering state of the art, professional care via their comprehensive range of care to pet owners and companions. They have state of the art technology that includes:
Digital Xray, Ultrasound, Dentistry, Ambulance, Nurse Clinics, Surgical Facilities, Pet Passports, Blood Analysis, Behavioural Advice and Vaccination Packages.
They care for all small animal including rabbits and small pets.
They have dedicated team of vets, RVNs, managers and receptionists that have over 120 years of combined veterinary experience.
This is a permanent full-time role (although 2 part-time vets would be considered as a job share). The full-time role will involve working a 5 day week. The consults are conducted between 09:30-11:00, 15:00-16:00 and 17:00-18:45, surgeries are completed on a rota basis. The weekend rota is 1:6 Saturday and Sunday with a day off given on either Thursday or Monday, and 1:8 Saturday only. Out of hours are covered by Vets Now so on call is only required for inpatients, should there be any in the practice.
As there are 4 branches you will be required to travel between two on a daily basis.
In return, our client is offering a competitive/negotiable salary (DOE), CPD, 33 days holiday, RCVS registration, private healthcare, and business mileage for branch travel.
The practice are looking for a vet with 4-5 years experience that is experienced in sole charge, consulting alone, enterotony, emergency surgery, spays and castrations etc. You must be confident dealing with clients and be willing to develop and grow within the practice. Not every day is the same so you will benefit from a varied caseload.
