We are currently working with an independent practice in Metheringham, Lincolnshire, that are looking for a full time mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis.
They are a mixed practice based in Metheringham, with branch practices in Waddington, Branston and Ruskington. The practice has been looking after the surrounding community's veterinary needs since the 1960’s. They look after a huge range of pets, large animals, horses and gamebirds. Farm animal and equine services form an important part of their business in which they have strong ties with the local rural community. In addition, they also have a full time pig vet as part of the team.
Consultations are carried out at all four surgeries, with both open surgeries and appointments available, depending on needs. Surgical and more advanced diagnostic procedures are carried out at the well-equipped Metheringham practice in order to give the best possible quality of care to patients. The branches in Waddington, Branston and Ruskington are approximately 3 miles away from Lincoln and Sleaford respectively.
The ideal candidate must have at least two years experience, you must be able to do some sole charge, be a forward thinker and most of all be a team player to join their small, friendly and supportive practice.
This position is full time working a 4 day week which includes some nights on call and 1:8 weekends on call. Full rota details TBC.
In return, our client is offering a competitive salary - dependent on experience, CPD allowance and VDS fees paid.
