We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy practice near Rotherham, South Yorkshire and lead the nursing team as Head Veterinary Nurse. This position is full-time and permanent.

The Practice:

The practice has very good facilities including a new set of endoscopes, a new ultrasound machine with echocardiography, on site radiography, a new CT being installed and a visiting MRI service. In addition to the advantages of being able to plan the facilities such as the imaging suite and operating theatres from scratch, the chosen site has plenty of parking space for staff and clients and room to expand!

This is a purpose built veterinary hospital and offers a safe and secure working environment in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. The practice is located near to Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley and is easily accessible for travelling referral cases from the A1M or M1.

The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a team of two knowledgeable and skilled vets, four devoted nurses and lovely support staff.

There are also Orthopaedic, Soft Tissue and Clinical Nutrition referral services offered from the premises. As a 24 hour referral hospital there is always a Vet and Nurse on site to look after hospitalized cases.

This role would suit an experienced RVN with previous leadership experience or a confident RVN who is eager to take the next step into a head nurse role; you will be fully supported within your move and our clients' will offer full management training with their dedicated in-house internal training team.

What you'll be doing?

Your average day will include a variety of nursing duties as well as assisting with clinical coaching within the practice. Full support will be provided as you will work closely within our clients’ experienced team.
