We are working with a mixed veterinary practice in Oswestry, Shropshire that is looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis. The practice is open to receive applications from vets with all levels of experience, you will need to be a mixed vet (90% Large & 10% Small) and be able to TB Test.
The practice is committed to treating all animals with outstanding, professional, and compassionate care. They pride themselves on giving a warm and friendly welcome and strive to offer the best possible service for their clients and animals.
Their tier 3 hospital is based in Shropshire, and both of their sites are RCVS accredited. Facilities within the practices include orthopaedic equipment, in-house lab, digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy.
This is a full-time position joining a team of 10 mixed Vets, 5 RVNS and 3 ANAs. You will be working 08:30-17:30 5 days a week, with a weekend rota of 1:4.5 Saturdays until 16:00. The out of hours requirements are 1:4.5 Weekends on-call and 2-3 nights per month.
The practice are happy to consider Vets with all levels of experience, from a new graduate to a Vet with year’s of experience. You will be a team player with lots of enthusiasm and you must be able to TB test.
In return, the practice are offering a competitive salary (DOE) + 5 weeks holiday + Bank holidays + 4 days CPD + negotiable accommodation and vehicle
