We are working with an established small animal practice in Ayr on the west coast of Ayrshire that is looking to recruit a Registered Veterinary Nurse in a Full-Time permanent position.
The practice is located around 30 minutes from Glasgow on the beautiful west coast and has good transport links including Prestwick Airport.
The bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is built to industry leading standards and has all the usual toys including digital X-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory facilities. You will join our clients’ small nursing team of 4 who have the fantastic support of a head nurse. The practice offer a great work life balance, they like to have fun and are a social team which include (family lunches, nights out/movie nights within practice).
This is a permanent full-time position for a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Ideally you will be happy to work full-time 40 hours a week with weekends on a rota basis and no OOH requirement. By joining the practice you will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care and as this role plays a key part within a small, friendly team the ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible as from time to time you may be required to cover our clients’ Irvine practice.
You will be a dynamic and proactive nurse with solid all round skills or an enthusiastic and motivated 2nd year student. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and keen to develop within your own area of interest, the practice will support you in this by offering a generous CPD allowance and, for the right candidate, the opportunity to study for a certificate.
