We are working with a practice based in Colne, Lancashire that is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full or part-time permanent basis.
Our client has grown to become a well-established practice in their local area offering gold standard client and patient care. On the edge of the Pennines, and easy access and links to both Manchester and up to the Dales and Lakes, this is great dog-walking country!
They have all the toys you might expect for a modern practice including a Doppler ultrasonography, dedicated operating theatre, digital x-ray, in-house laboratory. You will be joining a happy team who enjoy getting involved in both medical and surgical cases. They have 15 minute appointments to ensure client continuity, and run in conjunction with a supporting nursing team. The nursing team also run their own special interest clinics.
Their team consists of 2 vets, 3 RVN’s, 2 SVN’s, and 4 reception staff.
This is a permanent position for a Registered Veterinary Nurse. This flexible full or part time role includes weekends of 1 in 4 and an extra Saturday 1 in 8. This is a 7 days a week clinic, but the out of hours is outsourced.
You will be a dynamic and proactive nurse with solid all round skills or an enthusiastic and motivated 2nd year student. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and keen to develop within your own area of interest, the practice will support you in this by offering a generous CPD allowance and, for the right candidate, the opportunity to study for a certificate.
